During my solo trip, I enjoyed the ample breakfast selection that fueled my adventures each day. The friendly staff made check-in easy, and the location's ease of access to both the quiet beach and bustling nightlife was just perfect. Consider a room facing the pool for added tranquility.

See my booking below. States Double room with pool view. When I arrived we were not booked in. No room with a pool view I finished up with a view of the main road, busy shops and a very busy bus stop. No reduction in fees was offered. Not pleased.

The pool could definitely use more tables for drinks!!! The taxi nightmare in the evenings. The lack of varied dining options after a few days is a letdown!!!

Beds were quite hard.

Arrived on Saturday with written confirmation of our booking to be told there was no record of the booking (this was the same lie that was told to other guests arriving that day) and that the hotel was closing on Tuesday for the winter, though there was a room available. We were moved by taxi on the Tuesday to another hotel of the same group. The saving grace was that the other hotel was cleaner, better furnished and in a better locale; food was also much better.

Absolutely loved the pool area at Coral Star. It reminded me of a true escape with plenty of sunbeds available every day. The location in San Antonio is just a short water taxi ride away from some fantastic eateries. Breakfast offered a wide variety to start each day right. My twin room had decent space, was clean, and even came with a cot for my little one. The bathroom had great water pressure, a nice touch. I faced some issues with cleanliness overall. My patio door jammed one night. I noticed ants in both rooms we stayed in, and the carpets in the corridors could use serious updating. The dining options around the hotel were pretty limited, and not many decent restaurants were nearby. If you plan on heading out in the evening, be prepared for taxi availability to be a hassle. All in all, good value for a family getaway but some areas definitely need attention.

Thoroughly enjoyed this lively accommodation with attentive and respectful staff apart from the manager. Its location was ideal and nice, next to the costa Sur from the 23rd of june untill the 1st of july 2012, a bouncy castle, trampolines, water dinghys, a large play area and a minature golf course and cabaret bars, amusements. Had brunch in the Kumharas, located nearby. The pool was very clean and I had soft drinks in the Irish bar. Smooth check-in was a bonus. Stayed here before and I would consider staying here again.

The room was clean and had decent space for a couple with a baby. A perfect cot was provided. Everything felt safe and secure, nice since I was there alone. The air conditioning was already on when I arrived. It was basic but did the job really well as a home base for my trip.

The pool area was amazing, with plenty of sunbeds nearby. Enjoyed discovering beautiful beaches and the vibrant nightlife. Watching the evening shows was definitely a highlight.

Comfortable double room, perfect base for exploring. Enjoyed themed dinner nights and the a water park. Noise from neighboring guests can be quite bothersome.

The breakfast was good, with so much variety to kickstart the day! I loved lounging by the outdoor swimming pool, soaking up the sun.

The breakfast offered plenty of variety and was a great way to start each day. I particularly enjoyed the pool area, which was spacious and had ample sunbeds for relaxation. It's also convenient that there's a bus stop right outside and a supermarket directly across the street for easy access to supplies. I found the taxi availability in the evenings to be quite frustrating, especially when trying to hit the nightlife. it was a suitable choice for a family getaway with plenty of amenities nearby.

All fine, but cleanliness issues

Coral star is a solid choice for a relaxing getaway. The hotel was very clean, with our room being cleaned daily and fresh towels provided. Breakfast had plenty of choice, great. The location was super convenient, right by a bus stop and a supermarket. We really enjoyed the pool area with the sunbeds around the big swimming pools.
